You must be at least 13 years of age to use Verdelle. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
Verdelle uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Verdelle account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@verdelle.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
You may use Verdelle for your personal, non-commercial plant care management. You may add your plants, log care activities, receive AI-generated suggestions, and chat with the Verdelle AI agent for plant care guidance.

Verdelle uses artificial intelligence (including Google's Gemini API) to generate plant care suggestions and chat responses. You acknowledge and agree that:
Care suggestions may incorporate weather data for your location. We do not guarantee the accuracy of weather data provided by our third-party weather provider and are not liable for care decisions made on the basis of inaccurate weather information.
You retain ownership of all content you add to Verdelle, including plant names, care logs, photos, and chat messages ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models without your explicit consent. We do not share Your Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Verdelle name, logo, app design, and all content created by us (excluding Your Content) are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without prior written consent.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Google (authentication and AI), and weather data providers. Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
We aim to keep Verdelle available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by Service downtime.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Verdelle and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to plant loss or damage, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Verdelle and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting us at hello@verdelle.ai. We will process account deletion requests within 30 days.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and request account deletion.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, our Grievance Officer for matters relating to these Terms is:
